The protagonist, who you control in first-person perspective, starts by navigating a minimalist house with stark white walls, floors, and furniture. blank_01’s premise is straightforward yet compelling: follow an exact routine to avoid invoking the wrath of the unseen entity. The game maximizes the minimalist environment to build suspense, utilizing every available aspect to keep you on the edge of your seat. 

As you progress, the game introduces elements of the uncanny, with rooms rearranging into puzzling mazes and inexplicable markings appearing, which further adds to the sense of unease. The game's unique choice of flat, 2D visuals is reminiscent of classic analog horror media, further enhancing the unsettling atmosphere. It serves as a reminder that a bone-chilling horror game doesn't necessarily require high-end graphics; it's the anticipation and uncertainty that truly drive the fear.

Players can only use a mouse and keyboard, eliminating the option of a game controller.
